Michael A. Rider graduated as Valedictorian from Lake Placid High School in 1967. He graduated from Ohio Northern University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. And in 1973, Mr. Rider graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. While at Florida, Mr. Rider published both a Comment and a Commentary in the University of Florida Law Review and was Co-Counsel on the State Championship Moot Court team.

 

Mr. Rider has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1974.

On May 1, 1981, he opened up his own firm.In 1987, Mr. Rider built, and opened, a larger office.

​

In April of 2018, Mr. Rider was awarded the Judge Clifton M. Kelly Award - an award dedicated to identifying outstanding persons that invest in children and youth.

​

Mr. Rider retired in December 2022.
